Hedge overhanging pavement

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6646739.

It hangs over the pavement, much lower than head height. It is avery real hazard to anyone who is blind or partially sighted, or even with ordinary eyesight - but who just isn't properly looking where they are going!

  • Thank you for your report. Landowners and occupiers are responsible for maintaining any boundary features on their property that adjoin public highways and affect highway safety. In this case, the highway appears to be impacted, so we will contact the land/property owner. If necessary, further action will be taken.
