Deep pothole towards edge of road

Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 06:23, Tuesday 22 October 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6643313.

Normally can avoid this but when a car is coming the other way I caught it and it was so big. Think it made the hole bigger as now looks more obvious.

Council ref: ENQ241021589

  • This pothole is a significant hazard being some 15 cm deep. If some coming into Early Road moves out to avoid it there is a serious risk of collision if a vehicle is coming the other way round the corner immediately after the pothole

  • I hit this hole last week and it’s very deep. Fortunately my tyre appears to be ok, and it is not marked so a cyclist could come to great harm especially in the dark
