Steps inundated with weeds, and some mud

Steps to and from Pople Walk and Ashley Down Open Space. have weeds and mud and weeds building up , imho could do with spraying to kill weeds including roots to preserve the integrity of the steps and make them less of a slip hazard, ie. more service than just a pavement .
