Damaged pavement caused by illegal vehicle parking
Reported via mobile in the Pavements category anonymously at 11:50, Mon 21 October 2024
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6640287.
Resident at 46 Turtlegate Avenue continues to park their van on the pavement, even though they have plenty of room on their driveway. Apart from causing an obstruction to the pavement, their continued illegal parking has caused damage to the pavement surface. Surely they should be advised to park appropriately on their own driveway but also sent a bill for the damage their large vehicle has caused to the pavement?

Hopefully this will be at the expense of the resident who has caused the damage in the first place, not the tax payer.
