Advance warning ‘direction’ sign still not replaced

Reported via iOS in the Road traffic signs category anonymously at 17:39, Sat 19 October 2024

Sent to West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6635347.

18 months ago, the white directional sign was knocked down by an accident. To date, it has still NOT been replaced. This is dangerous as motorists are not aware of the junction ahead. Yesterday, a driver made a last minute left turn to West Hoathly, at speed, and nearly collided with me as I waited at the give way line to exit Selsfield Road. He wound his window down and apologised and said he only saw the West Hoathly sign at the junction. If the advance sign was in place, he would have realised the junction was coming up and not made such a last minute manoeuvre. Please replace the sign!
