Bigger, clearer signage please

Reported via desktop in the General road marking and stud issues category anonymously at 12:09, Fri 18 October 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6631178.

We live at the bottom of the hill by the Daneway Pub and whilst there is a small sign at the top of the hill in Sapperton (see pic), lorries are continuing to pile down the hill and getting stuck We have had 2 in just the last week but this happens fairly frequently. The articulated lorries go over the bridge and get stuck at the pub. They have then had to reverse over the bridge. The last occasion they caused damage to our fencing and we had to have it repaired. I worry that if this isn't fixed, the bridge and retaining wall may be seriously damaged in the future and as our house sits immediately behind the wall, it will have a serious impact on our cottage (if not end up with a lorry in the house). Please can we have more sign and/or bigger in Sapperton before more make the same mistake.
