This road is too narrow to have three lanes approaching the roundabout

Although you can fit three cars side by side it is not possible to all enter the roundabout at the same time (particularly when larger vehicles are involved) because the distance between the footpath and the roundabout is narrower!!

It would make life so much simpler (and significantly safer) if this roundabout could adopt the same approach as almost every other double roundabout in MK

Heading from Fenny Stratford towards Newton Leys (only two lanes needed):

Roundabout 1 - Left lane to go straight, right lane to go right Roundabout 2 - Left lane to go left, right lane to go straight

Simple… and consistent with the rest of the local roundabouts - no confusion, no more near misses, and minimal cost to implement!!
