Illegal parking in loading only zones and parking all 4 wheels on the pavement

Sent to Luton Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6626444.

Driving down Lewsey road is a nightmare due to cars being parked in bays designated as “Loading Only” This is a bus route and due to the inconsiderate/illegal parking this causes build up of traffic in both directions as sometimes only one vehicle can pass. I have never seen a traffic warden or parking enforcement officer in the vicinity! Another issue is cars which park with all 4 wheels on the pavement outside the hospital car park, pretty sure this is illegal too! This is an ongoing problem 7 days a week! Needs Sorting!!!

  • Waste of time! council don’t care about illegal parking, they will just send a generic reply saying patrols will be increased. But i have never seen a parking warden in that area so people park where they like!
