1 foot deep pothole

Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 09:50, Thu 17 October 2024

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6626028.

It’s difficult to locate this on a map so I’ve included a screen shot and also a photo which shows a dead tree next to it. (This is on the northern edge of the road) This is located on the left side of the road about a foot in from the edge - exactly where you would cycle - on the road heading east away from Moyles Court. It is deep and dangerous to cyclists who won’t always appreciate it’s a deep pothole when it’s full of water.

  • This was reported on 17th October. That's 10 weeks ago. Someone has been out to mark it (I think shortly after it was reported) but it still hasn't been repaired. I am not the only person who thinks this is dangerous as there is now a traffic cone in the pot pole requiring all traffic (not just bicycles) to go around it. The photo above doesn't really do it justice.
