Flood

Reported via desktop in the Drainage category anonymously at 20:21, Wed 16 October 2024

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6624511.

The North side of the road is flooded over half the width of the road and the water sprays up over the pavement/cycle path whenever a vehicle drives through East bound. It has been like this for at least a year whenever it rains heavily, which is quite frequent.

  • I had a reply from Hants CC that they could not find the flood! I pointed out it only occurs in heavy rain. I had sent a photo of a car wading through the water on the wrong side of the road.

  • The last time there was heavy rain the road flooded. At the site there are around 5 drains that are visibly blocked to surface level, I have reported this a number of times to HCC, as yet they have not been cleared.
