The pavement on Sydney Road, just where Wheatley Road joins. Not sure which house it is outside but it’s right by where the roadworks start on the side of the road where houses have even numbers

Reported via mobile in the Footway category anonymously at 19:15, Mon 14 October 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6614781.

The grid/drain on the pavement appears to have sunk and you can see the wire frame underneath it. The hole is big enough that it is a tripping hazard and a potential danger to anyone with/in pushchairs, wheel chairs, scooters, children’s bikes and walking sticks or crutches. Not sure how long it has been like that - just saw it this evening.
