Road edges

Reported via desktop in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 18:17, Monday 14 October 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6614541.

These road edges were repaired!! I cant believe the stupidity of whoever repaired these edges. They were just filled with loose soil & the first car that went into them have pulled out the soil all across the road, causing more danger to traffic. The edges of the road are now just as deep as before but with lots of mud everywhere. These edges need a solid base put down or it will just keep happening. With the amount of traffic using this narrow road it is very dangerous.

  • Hi, this problem is only getting worse. Mud is all on the road again, the trenches on the edge of the tarmac are getting deeper & wider. Cars are losing control as they slip intp these trenches then coming back on to the road out of control. On these narrow roads with the amount of traffic using them its only a matter of time before a serious accident occurs. The edges of the road are also disapearing further up the road where the slip road is closed. You have asked me to supply photos, i am not risking myself getting out of the car, vehicles are using this narrow road far too fast.
