Thank you for your report, the two drains you have mentioned belong to the private forecourt and not the responsibility of LBB. This report will now be closed.

One of the drains is categorically not on the private forecourt but on the public pathway outside the property. It’s is 100% the responsibility of the council because the council cleared one exactly the same but farther down the path a few years ago.
Please check again the drain that is under the South St road sign and is the main cause of the flooding.
At the very least if you decide it is a public drain then please contact the owner as it is affecting the public highway. However given that the one drain is underneath a public road sign I don’t believe it is on private land at all.

The contractors have made a number of attempts to clean the gully but were unable to do so due to a vehicle always being parked over it.
The drain ID has been highlighted to the contractors and added to a Forward Works schedule, where they will attempt to clean it under its next cyclical programme.
This report will now be closed.
