Loose drain around pothole loud noise

The pothole around this drain has been an issue since spring 2024 but has now grown to a size and depth that means the drain is loose in its fixings. Every car that drives over it exacerbates the problem, causing loud clunking that can be heard all night in the surrounding houses. The corner of the drain is protruding from the road and will start to damage vehicles.

This issue is not fixed. Workers came out to address the issue and carried out repairs but the setting is still unstable. The original problem still persists, with movement and loud clunking with every car that passes over the drain, disturbing neighbours in the surround houses all night. Because of the movement in the setting, the surrounding tarmac is already starting to degrade. It's galling to think that the initial, badly executed repairs were carried out at taxpayer cost, and will now have to be repeated.
