Fence post

Reported anonymously at 20:46, Tue 7 July 2015

Sent to Slough Borough Council 3 minutes later

Mrs P. Williams has asked Slough council to fix the fence post which the council erected down the side of her property. It has snapped at the bottom as the wood is rotten. Workmen came and attached a metal strip to the post which has made no difference what so ever. The post still remains swaying in the wind.

  • You've also just asked the council again. That is all that FMS does. There is no big team of people chasing the councils. FMS simply automatically routes reports to the right council and sometimes the right department, based on where you place the pin and what category you use.

It does also make them public, but I don't think the press or anyone influential regularly reads them.

If you want to escalate an issue like this, you are probably best approaching the local councillors.

Actually, this sounds like a housing issue. FMS doesn't officially cover these and for Slough I think they would need to go to the ALMO: People 1st (Slough)
