Dead tree outside no 20 Sherwood avenue al4- has been dead for 3 /4 years!!

This cherry tree in sherwood avenue[St Albans] outside no 20 has been dead for years..it is even more dead than the parrot in the old Monty Python sketch.. I don't know how much more dead it needs to be but it is certainly 101% dead, an ex/ deceased cherry tree but DEAD! Please can you cut it down and please replace it with another! Many thanks.

Had to write to councillor Lynn Bolton and it was cut down soon afterwards but don't know if she intervened as I didn't get a reply email.
