Rubbish tip in Southwick cemetery

Reported via iOS by Paul heward at 21:01, Mon 6 July 2015

Sent to Adur District Council and West Sussex County Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 658105.

14 paces from my sons grave has become a rubbish tip since work was carried out a few years back to provide a hard standing for spoil being dug from new graves. At the same time, at least 4 new rubbish bins were installed in an area not used and consequently remain empty. I find it so upsetting and depressing to see how the area close to my sons grave has become and so I would kindly ask for the situation to be put right and grass it over once again as to how it used to be and if an area is needed for spoil then provide it away from graves as people currently think piled up earth and chalk is a reason for dumping everything else. Many thanks in anticipation. Paul Heward.
