Collapsed river bank causing flood

Reported via mobile in the Flooding/Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 11:57, Wednesday 9 October 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6570442.

Above the weir is a narrow section of raised river bank, where the path alongside slopes down to the lower downstream side of the Weir. This bank has been breached by the high water level, and this happens each time it rains heavily. The path below the Weir is flooded for about 300metres beyond, leaving path users forced to wade through deep water. Please fix the river bank. It has needed repair and reinforcement for many years. I believe you have been informed of the issue repeatedly, but have not acted on reports.
