Drain still not working

Reported via mobile in the Blocked Drain / Gully category by Roger Fiander at 16:53, Tue 8 October 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6567505.

As I have told you twice before (in February and May) the problem is not with the gully, but that the link drain under the road is blocked.

There is no point whatever in scheduling "reactive gully cleaning" without actually fixing the blocked drain.

Please this time, could you be so good as to leave this report open until the flooding is actually fixed.

  • I didn't think there had been enough snow to make this amount of water, I was surprised

  • I don't think it is fair on the bin collection teams to force them to wade through this cold water!

When are you going to do anything about this problem?

Posted by Roger Fiander at 15:01, Tue 19 November 2024

  • Didn't think there had been that much rain, but still enough to cause the usual flood.

Any idea when you might be able to take any action?

  • It's raining again and the road outside our drive is flooded again. It's got dark so I can't take the usual set of photos for you.

When is the scheduled action going to happen, please?
