Illegal use of road for camping / query around grey-water waste

Reported via desktop in the Rights of way category anonymously at 16:01, Mon 7 October 2024

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6562331.

A large, silver 'Martini Racing' campervan regularly stays for months on Ottawa Drive, restricting access to the Sainsburys delivery area.

The campervan is being lived in. It is often repaired at this location.

On the odd occasion that it moves, there appears to be evidence of grey-water disposal (note - not 'foul water' but e.g. sinks etc). The hedging also smells foul.

Is it possible there are vulnerable people being housed in the campervan and the authorities have a legal duty to check why?

Updates

  • The campervan is being stored (and lived in - see question above about why, and where any waste is being disposed of) along with 3 cars - a silver Golf, a black Yaris and a red Corsa.
