No sign for parking restrictions

The nearest sign plate for this single yellow line is hundreds of yards away on Wilton Street.

The one at the opposite side of the line, on Egerton Road is missing. Only a no loading sign is displayed.

So every day lines of cars park here (usually massive Chelsea tractors) on the pavement, despite there being no waiting 7.30am - 6.30pm.

Exact same situation further up Higher Lane.

The police come to ticket the cars a couple of times a year, but they're probably appealable due to insufficient signage.
