Concrete slabs uneven/broken in multiple places
Reported via desktop in the Pavements category anonymously at 11:33, Sat 5 October 2024
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6554398.
The concrete slabs outside Box Makers Yard on New Kingsley Road, on the Mokoko coffee shop side, are uneven and/or broken in multiple places - see the attached photos for a couple of examples of this.
In reality, there are numerous examples like this all around both Box Makers Yard buildings. Can the whole area be looked at please?
If you need to prioritise, please prioritise the section of New Kingsley Road in front of both Box Makers Yard buildings, as it is horrible in multiple places.
It would probably make sense to use a different surface here - perhaps a nice coloured asphalt - as this issue with uneven slabs and bricks is going to be a constant problem.

This issue has not yet been fixed. If Bristol City Council thinks that it has, I would ask them to add a comment which provides more information than a boilerplate "This enquiry is now closed. No further action is required."

The council keep closing problems as soon as they have transferred responsibility for them to another team - but they shouldn't be closed until they are actually fixed.

Bristol City Council keep stating that a job has been raised with their contractors, but these mysterious contractors never appear.

The last comment from Bristol City Council was "This issue requires further investigation. We'll provide updates on the outcome in due course."
The issue does not require further investigation. The issue simply requires to be fixed.
Many months have gone by since this issue was originally reported, which makes one wonder whether there is any point in reporting any issue in Bristol on this site.
