Cars parking on every bit of pavement
Reported via mobile in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 12:04, Thursday 3 October 2024
Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6547030.
Cars on pavement and sometimes block drop kerb. When parked in a space residents have trouble getting out as the road is not wide enough. Only around 10 of us have cars at this amenity new build but car park spaces used up by commuters and high rise flats next door. We have disabled residents who can't walk and use scooters, but also others infirm who cannot get a space in this complex. It's an accident waiting to happen as had near misses myself.

You need to contact Wheatley Homes. Neither the road or pavement coming off Lincoln Av into the flats are publicly adopted. The original plan was for that road to be split in two and not be a through road between Kestrel and Lincoln.

Nothing will be done. Today parking on every bit of pavement because there is a lunch club on Thursdays plus other days more activities. Cars struggle to get out, your coming face to face with other cars. Accident waiting to happen. Residents who have mobility scooters here suffer too.

270 -300 Lincoln Avenue is a nightmare with cars on pavement and high rise residents, and commuters using our area. We have to carry our shopping from wherever we get a space. Accident waiting to happen. Council not bothered. Residents want to put up their own bollards!!!
