Tree split

Reported in the Trees category by resident hayes north at 08:13, Mon 29 June 2015

Sent to Hillingdon Borough Council 1 minute later

A tree which looks like sometime ago was struck by lighting is split, it is in danger of falling on the road if not seen too. If the trees had been trimmed this would have been seen long before. All the trees in this area now require a good trim as never been done. Location is where all the gas company have placed equipment, near to last house in Park Lane odd numbers.

  • We do hope the people who cut the tree down come back & take away all the logs & branches now left on the ground. While at it, could they also cut the other tree back which is over the pavement.

  • Still open, via questionnaire, 08:48, Mon 27 July 2015

  • One tree has been cut down, another next to it was not touched, it needs to be trimmed back & all dead wood cut out.

In fairness the area in question has all the equipment for the gas workings, which are still on going, this could make it difficult for the tree surgeon to operate in a safe manner. Will follow up once the equipment has been removed.
