Dropped road
Reported via iOS in the A pothole in road category anonymously at 13:07, Wednesday 2 October 2024
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6542642.
The road has subsided again due to the rainfall we had recently. This happened a year or so ago as well and it took months to be fixed.
This currently has cones around it, but can’t see this issue on your map. How long until this will be fixed please?
Please note your signs warning drivers have also all fallen down due to winds

Thank you for reporting a pothole.
First, a safety inspector will visit the location to assess whether a repair needs to be completed and plan the work needed. Works are prioritised based on the urgency of the situation. The council aim to repair all significant potholes (more than 4cm deep and 30cm wide) within 28 days.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
We will provide updates about this report.

This pothole report has now been passed to the Safety Inspection Team for assessment.
A safety inspector will make an assessment of the work needed and they will consider a number of factors, including the flow of traffic and the size of the pothole.
If repair work is required, the pothole will either be classed as urgent or will be put into a planned programme of works to ensure it is repaired as efficiently as possible. We aim to complete the repair work within 28 days.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
An update on the outcome of the safety inspection will be provided.
