Water continually running out of private property onto the highway

There appears to be a drainage issue at Glebe Farm and a high level of water is running down Higher Lane. It’s a particular nuisance when we’ve experienced high levels of rain and will run out on the road for days even weeks after. It has already caused the road to erode away at the side of Glebe Farm and for the last two years has been very dangerous in icy conditions. The drainage problem isn’t anything to do with the council but the fact that the water is continually pouring out on to the road makes it an issue that the council need to chase up. It’s making the road dangerous for all road users. I’d prefer for my name to be kept anonymous in the case thank you.

There is an issue with a drain on Glebe Farm, Higher Lane WA4 4JF. The water is running off the yard onto the road making it extremely hazardous in icy conditions. The lane is never dry is getting in a poor state because this water is continually running down the lane. The problem has been going on two years now and it’ll only take an unaware road user to have an accident especially when it’s icy. It is evident by looking at how wet the garden at the front of the farmhouse, how much water is passing through onto the road. If nothing is addressed here, I’ll be reporting it to the police when it becomes icy! Very dangerous when running water is passing over ice on a slope!
