Knocked over young street tree support post

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6536331.
Happened sometime in the last 24 hours.
Note large lorries often seen parking across bays early in the morning…..

Thank you for your enquiry. Works have been raised and issued to the contractor to re-stake the young tree and re-attach ties which is in hand to be completed.

See attached 7am photos x2 of the (more) vulnerable tree and x1 photo of its adjacent tree with (slightly) more substantial staking…..
Is that parking space (with the metallic light blue car in the photo) too close to the tree (as it grows and matures…..)?

Thank you for your comments. The contractor removed the second stake as it was surplus to requirements as the remaining stake is supporting the stem preventing it from developing a lean. In light of your comments, it would be beneficial for a second stake to be installed as this would act as a barrier to protect against damage for approaching vehicles accessing the adjacent parking bays, which the contractor All Angles has confirmed that will visit site next week to install a second stake.
