Temporary barriers been hit

Reported via mobile in the Bridges category anonymously at 14:53, Monday 30 September 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 6534000.

The temporary barriers placed on the bridge to protect it after several lorries have hit it as they manoeuvre to turn onto the Great Brook Road, have been hit and badly buckled. The bridge has been narrowed by these barriers and now they are buckled it represents quite a hazard as other large vehicles will struggle to clear without being hit by them. They need urgently fixing. Would urge OCC to also increase/enforce lorry access along the single track lane from Cote/Aston and the Great Brooke road as this is yet another consequence (as with the bridge being hit several Times and damaged) of too big lorries using this lane & junction, which is too narrow to accommodate.
