Ok so there was a car parked here when they carried out this job. Why hasn’t cones been placed so this job can be sensibly finished or is it just going to be left like this.

  • Still no update or change to the lines - over a month now is anyone even going to return? The works on this road have been a shambles since ETM resurfaced months ago at a moments notice (which still has lots of loose chippings over the road and our driveway as a result). This all leads to major issues at school drop off times, despite reporting to Merchants Venturers as I believe it's also their responsibility to encourage safe parking at drop offs and pick ups. Many of times there has been long delays to exit the road, near hitting of school children with vehicle, and even using the end of gatcombe road junction as a drop off bay. The gap in this double yellow doesn't help, as you can see on this pictue there is a vehicle parked just after the gap in the yellows (middle of the day).
