  • The High Street in Pensford is a narrow road with many parked cars. The road markings to show the pedestrian walkway on the road (there is no pavement on this section) are now not easily visible. This road is widely used by parents and school aged children walking to and from school and the markings to indicate a ‘safe’ place to walk should be more visible i.e. in red. To further help with pedestrian safety, signs should be added at the start and end of this section (where there is no pavement) to highlight to drivers that the only place to walk is on the road (similar to the signs used at the start and end of a cycle way).

  • Pensford High Street has not been gritted during this icy period and is quite dangerous. It has been gritted in the past so please could it be done during freezing temperatures.
