Repaired Footbridge now leaning into stagnant ditch

Reported via desktop in the Bridge is damaged/missing category anonymously at 08:09, Thursday 26 September 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6517340.

The repaired bridge is on Brookthorpe with Whaddon Footpath 8 and we think the What3Words are Couch Porch Music. Unfortunately, there is a new issue but with the same little footbridge, which is now leaning into the stagnant ditch below. It seems stable but it is on an ever-increasing slant which is rather worrying. We realise in the overall scheme of what you are all doing with the upkeep of roads etc this is small fry but for those walkers on the Glevum Way and other mapped walks, and ‘us locals’, who use it, the little footbridge is valued and we would really appreciate being able to continue to use it safely. Thank you.
