Car going over red lights

Reported via mobile anonymously at 20:33, Wed 25 September 2024

Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6516481.

I cross Maryhill Road on my bicycle every day twice (North Woddside Rd towards Braid Street. The layout of the cyclepath is fairly awkward as the cycle lane crosses the pavement on both sides of Maryhill Rd and you sometimes have to stop on Maryhil Rd to let pedestrians walk past.

Every day at least one car drives over fully red lights, either on Maryhill Rd or coming out of Hopehill Rd., which makes it unsafe to cross the road.

There seem to be cameras on some of the traffic lights, are these not recording/not being monitored?
