Drain blocked with silt
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6513911.
The drain next to the old access gate for Northampton College in Esher Court is blacked with silt and vegetation.
During the recent weather the surface water was running over the drain.
Could you please: 1. Identify drain ownership 2. Arrange for an inspection and action by the relevant responsible team?

Investigation: Completed (Defect Found) - Thank you for your enquiry. West Northants received approximately 140mm of rain over a short period of time, resulting in severe flash flooding in many areas. The heavy rainfall had the ability to overwhelm the surface water drainage system. If your report is a repeat flooding incident, please could update this enquiry with further information, so that we can investigate. If this is not a repeat incident, we will close the enquiry after 7 days and the highways team will continue to monitor the location
