Flytipping & bins bl9cking pavements

Reported via mobile in the Flytipping category anonymously at 18:15, Tuesday 24 September 2024

Sent to Bury Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6511505.

There is rubbish in white bags and plastic boxes dumped on the pavement inbetween the bins. Some of this has been there for months. It smells and I have seen rats. There is also a problem getting wheelchairs and prams past the bins that are constantly left out on the street. There is a ginnel for them to be moved on non bin days. It's a busy corner and the bins and rubbish left on the pavement means children and disabled people have to go on the road.

Updates

  • There are still white sacks full of rubbish thrown on the street inbetween the bins.

  • The rubbish is still there that I originally posted and now it is getting worse. The local businesses need to keep the pavements clear of rubbish and bins

  • I reported the rubbish two months ago still not moved and more rubbish added.
