A Blocked - flooding private property problem has been found

Once again the drain on the corner of 56 and 58 is flooded and water pouring across drives into my driveway and by front door and garage. Have reported this drain numerous times as repeatedly happens.

Investigation: Ongoing - Thank you for your enquiry. West Northants received approximately 140mm of rain over a short period of time, resulting in severe flash flooding in many areas. The heavy rainfall had the ability to overwhelm the surface water drainage system. If your report is a repeat flooding incident, please could update this enquiry with further information, so that we can investigate. If this is not a repeat incident, we will close the enquiry after 7 days and the highways team will continue to monitor the location

Investigation: Completed (No Action Necessary) - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location, and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, this defect does not meet the investigatory levels for a repair. We will continue to monitor the condition as part of our routine highway inspection schedule. Should you notice the defect worsening, please inform us by raising a new Fixmystreet enquiry.
