This was reported in 2021 by me, it has not been fixed since then. When is a proper fiz to be done? It was flooded as per photo on Monday, still flooded and impassable Wednesday morning. flooded but passable on a bike Wednesday afternoon (but wet feet for a pedestrian). Finally fully drained Friday afternoon. One dtained, a slippery muddy residue is left all over the tarmac, get slippery again when it next rains, even if no flooding takes place, it is quite a safety hazard. My hunch is it is blocked in/under the Kennington branch underpass, at the other end of the Kennington branch underpass is a deep drainage chamber (never seen water through the drain grating, the chamber is very deep, probably links to the drainage pipe that can be seen right at the bottom of the embankment near the boundary fence.

Guess what still isn't fixed? Impassable this morning--it's a full foot (40cm) deep. I thought I'd try using the ring road/hinksey hill roundabout to get around this flooded underpass. 7, yes seven, uncontrolled crossings with limited visibility...and you get forced down to Redbridge. Shocking!
Anyway, given that cars can claim for damage to their vehicles for problems like potholes that the councils haven't fixed, who else will put in a claim for bike damage?
Someone have an e-bike acting up? This is a good opportunity to make them actually fix this after YEARS.
