Sent to Waltham Forest Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6491043.

We have always had a problem with the volume of traffic using Middleton Avenue as a cut through to or from Waltham Way in both directions. It is currently far worse with the roadworks going on in Waltham Way. Middleton Avenue needs to be cut off from the Waltham Way end and made a one-way road. The high volume of traffic is horrendous, and most of the vehicles travel at way over 40 mph. A bad accident will happen some time soon - hopefully NOT involving a child. URGENT TRAFFIC-CALMING ACTION IS NEEDED. PLEASE.
