Excavation left after SGN works abandoned

Sent to Hampshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6480448.

SGN did pipe replacement work in Globe Farm Lane in July/August. This excavation, in the verge outside 23 Globe Farm Lane is still there, over a month after work was completed, covered with a yellow plate and seems to have been overlooked by SGN. The safety barriers around it have all collapsed.

  • On inspection, the work by Highways was adjacent to this hole, but unconnected. The excavation remains unfilled.
