Parking half on the pavement

Reported via desktop in the Car parking category anonymously at 18:52, Monday 16 September 2024

Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6478705.

This Norby Road junction is a complete nightmare at the best of times. At this area, cars/vans parking in Broomhill Drive just at the church at Norby Road which is blocking your view completely to Broomhill Drive when you are trying to turn right or left. These vehicles park there as they do not want to use the carpark to the shops as just want to be able to drive off up Broomhill Drive! I really think double yellow lines at the church corner may help deter some drivers off from parking there and make it safer for drivers wishing to turn right or left !! Really hope something can be done at this junction to make it safer.
