Hedge overhanging pavement

Reported via Android in the Hedges category by Kevin Mayo at 16:43, Mon 16 September 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6478219.

Hedge overhanging pavement forcing walkers into the road on a dangerous bend. The hedge needs properly cutting back vertically and not just a cosmetic trim.

Council ref: ENQ241016849

  • Although the hedge has been cut back it has not been cut back as far as it could be and continues to obstruct the highway.

  • This hedge is going to get someone killed. Pedestrians are forced to walk on the road. Traffic is busy and it's on a blind bend. One property has cut it partially but the ivy on the wall extends and reduces the width of the path.
