After a year and a ‘closed- no problem’ assessment, this issue continues!

Reported via desktop in the Flooding/Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 17:39, Sun 15 September 2024

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6474247.

How can this completely blocked drain be closed by BCC without any work…..? This drain is completely stuffed, as you can see by the photo. How can this not be a problem? As soon as there is any rain the drain floods, the gutter and a wide portion of the road floods, making crossing an absolute nightmare for pedestrians - they have to walk in the middle of the road. As we approach autumn, and naturally a more rainy season, please do address this to resolve. It have been about a year, if not more.
