3 Layton road

The tarmac on the public footpath is wearing thin so buddleia roots and other weeds growing there. I have spent 2 hours this morning trying to clear what I could which has filled my garden bin. I am not strong enough to remove the deep roots if not removed will eventually damage the public footpath. The tac mac is so thin and old that grass and other plants keep growing there. I've tried my best to help out and save highways money but I'm getting to old to keep doing it. Any help would be very much appreciated.
