A30 footpath overgrown/disappearing

Reported via desktop in the Pavements/Cycleway category anonymously at 15:41, Friday 13 September 2024

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6469269.

There is a public footpath running along the A30 from Phoenix Green / Hartley Wintney to Murrell Green and into Hook. The section between Phoenix Green and Murrell Green has become materially and seriously eroded and overgrown, with the footpath now not navigable by wheelchairs, pushchairs and anything wider than a pedal bike or single line of pedestrians. The footpath has been deteriorating for years, but is now at a point where it is not usable for several user groups, thereby restricting pedestrian transit between Hartley Wintney and Hook.
