Pedestrian Crossing timing changed

Reported via desktop in the Other Road Issues category anonymously at 15:56, Thu 12 September 2024

Sent to Hampshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6465873.

Since the work at the Crownfields development required temporary traffic lights, the timing of the pedestrian crossing has changed. As previously reported, it takes way too long for the traffic lights to change to red in order that pedestrians can safely cross this busy road. This is a dangerous situation because pedestrians, school children and the elderly are tempted to cross before the lights turn red.
