18inch pot hole reoccurring in Beaufort Road

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 13:09, Thursday 12 September 2024

Sent to Hampshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6465091.

Pot hole has been apparent and growing for the last 2-3 months. This pot hole has apparently been repaired at least twice in the past 2 years. Can we please get it repaired properly this time? The contractors used previously have clearly not done the job correctly. The road has fairly light traffic so weight and usage are not the problem.What3Words location chips.airless.signs (SU819528)

  • A so called repair has been carried out....A dollop of tarmac has been stuck in the biggest hole, no sealant and no real bonding to the sub surface. It will not be long before the hole is open again and we as rate payers are paying for this. Why do not the County Council surveyors refuse to accept this shoddy workmanship.
