The overgrown vegetation on the verge is preventing a view along the road

The overgrown vegetation prevents a view of the road for people walking across Segensworth road and for persons exiting my driveway onto Segensworth road. Despite informing the relative authorities of this serious hazard there has been no effective action. I am seriously concerned for the safety of persons leaving my driveway in a car due to the lack of visibility of cars travelling downhill, round a slight bend at speed. There are no footpaths along Segensworth Road East which is a further serious hazard to pedestrians using the adjacent foot path.

The overgrown vegetation has got much worse since I reported the problem in October 2024. Urgent action is now required to cut back overgrown vegetation both to the west and east along the north side of Segensworth Road. Previously a small strio of grass has been trimmed however the larger bushes and trees now need cutting back. The overgrown vegetation is now preventing suitable sight lines which are outwith stopping distances as detailed in the Highway Code. Please, please act urgently on this information before there is a serious accident at this site.
