Crossing buttons no longer work

Reported via mobile in the Crossing push buttons not working category anonymously at 14:25, Saturday 7 September 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6446845.

The pedestrian crossing buttons that normally control the lights are no longer functional as there is a problem where it is like the button is being pressed all the time. As soon as the lights have changed the "wait" sign is lit as if the button has been pressed and the lights wait to change. The lights are constantly going through the cycle as if someone is requesting to cross.
