Wasps nest + overgrown hedge = dangerous

Reported via mobile in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 19:30, Fri 6 September 2024

Sent to Norfolk County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6445082.

The photo is from Google Maps, it doesn't represent the state of the hedge currently. It's just to show which one it is. It's the on the boundary of 44 (the flats) and 40 Rockingham Road.

This hedge is overgrown, and passing it is difficult enough.

Worse is that there's significant wasp activity there, I suspect there's a nest inside.

Today I walked past it, got hit in the eye by a wasp, sumbled, and almost fell into the road in to the path of an oncoming bus.

The grass verge is sloped here, so it's very possible somebody could roll an ankle while trying to avoid the hedge and wasps.
