Footway overgrowth

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6443568.

Will you please cut back the hedge, which is obstructing the footway & causing a public nuisance.

The Town Council say they can't, because there might be nesting birds, but that did not prevent them cutting the hedge around the Bowls Club (100 yds away) last week.

And if they are that concerned about birds, why do they hold a very loud music festival & .fun fairs right next to the same hedge - does that not scare the birds?

They seem to pick & choose which laws to follow and when to suit there own needs.
