Healthy Tree Sawn down

Reported in the Trees category by resident hayes north at 20:47, Thu 4 June 2015

Sent to Hillingdon Borough Council 3 minutes later

On the corner of Welwyn Way stood what looked like a healthy tree, as this home on the corner is having a lot of extension work done, wish to know did the council take the tree down & what was the reason, we trust not for a drop down kerb.

  • This issue has not been closed, we have heard nothing from anyone, feel we are being treated as if we do not keep on it will be forgotten.

It will not, we have asked 3 times for a reason why this has happen & no replacement of any tree being mentioned, this happens far to many times & we intended to get a reply, even if we contact he local Cllrs.

  • We can now see the reason for removal of a perfectly healthy tree - a drop down kerb is going to be put in ! One very unhappy resident .....

  • This week men were there cutting the stump den - presumably to make way for the drop down kerb !!!! Still extremely angry at the councils decision to chop down a perfectly good and healthy tree - surely it could have been trimmed !!!! I really don't think it should be down to the council to chop lovely trees just because an owner deems it to be in the way of their newly developed house !!!!! One angry owner !!!!
